Analysis

The stranger discusses theory concepts to Simon, who is somewhat bored but eager to improve. She sends Simon two hundred buyins for 2NL, and watches him play while commenting between hands. (She refuses to coach him during hands.) He is confused and makes a few common mistakes, which leads to the stranger streaming their own play at 200NL. They win two buyins in the course of an hour, which they attribute to positive variance but which impresses Simon immensely. He commits to studying theory.
