Apes

I never was a sports fan, so I attempt not to relay the action. The players trotted off at half-time, high on the rush of a back-and-forth bloodbath, and went to formulate their battle plans. Cheerleaders from the other side came out for their performance. Other than their glistening legs, I noticed their wet uniforms were more beige than gold. After they skipped off to applause, it was our school’s turn. Girls adorned in sanguine crimson galloped in, to the delight of males on both sides. Following Timothy, who clapped and cheered like a madman, I went all out until my hands were stinging and my throat was raw.
