Breathing

The problem of a transparent lens arises with most forms of critical analysis, incl. postmodern and Marxist (and even my current metadiscourse on thought, keep in mind!), which is why I believe this conversation must come back to the mechanical (social and material) nature of meaning, that all meaning is interpretation, that we can all choose to not suffer, that self-editing is learning itself.
