Remnant

Albeit lacking all humility,
your faithful servant—I—shall serve you well
with my blank verse and its ideas contained.
For in my immature philosophy
exists a clarity of youthful mind
which to the reader I shall now impart.
Though this is still a work of simple scale,
heed ye all gold and bounty writ within.
