Tranquil

The time is 23:58pm. I stare at the clock on the screen in front of me, and wait for two minutes to advance. Waiting — so much of my life was spent waiting. The world today is faster than it was. Our time is ever filled with diversions. When I put away my Samsung smartphone and sit with my Lenovo laptop at the kitchen table, a moment passes slower than it once did. How long is a moment, even? A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a year, a lifetime.
