• Before graduation, he, Eroica, Catherine, and Louise made a promise that their children will be around the same age and will be best friends. 

• Catherine is upset that Ancra is leaving Canada for university instead of going to the University of Ottawa like he once said.

Ancra goes to an arts college in the US and studies creative writing.
