Planks

There were growing pains as we learned to become a family. I remember when she insisted that I keep an eye out for Santa on Christmas Eve. Though I rolled my eyes at her crying over an old myth, I attached my eyeball to a drone all night. Another time, she asked me to lend a hand but then lost it somewhere. Still, she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. She attends my English lectures with me and appreciates the language like I do. Even now, we kiss each other on the cheek after I tuck her in at night. My proudest moment was when she declared she’ll be at my side right to the end of my hundred-year operational limit.
