Folding

Simon looks at the links the stranger sent him, including a hand history analysis of all the spots she played against him, then goes to work and deals poker at the tables. He observes hands using the things the stranger told him the day before, and starts to see the incredible complexity of poker. Over the course of dealing, he feels like he is not the same player as before. When he sees Rick, he says he won’t lose another cent of his own hard-earned money. (Technically not a lie.) Ashley overhears his conversation and says it is for the best, since “he’s too smart and good a person to waste his life on poker”. With a new fire in his heart, he goes back home and accepts the staking offer.
